I'm 14 weeks pregnant today!
Announcements have been sent to family and friends. I'm so excited!
Not much has been happening lately. I got my seasonal flu shot at my last prenatal appointment and then my H1N1 shot this past Thursday.
My weight gain has been minimal and I'm happy about that. I'm a big girl as it is and I was so afraid that I'd pack on the (unneeded) weight like I did with my first child. Of course back then, my son's father worked in the food industry and was bringing home extras every single night. That didn't help! I won't post my weight here, ever, but I'll post updates on weight gained and such ;)
I haven't had any morning sickness at all, or food aversions/cravings. Well, strawberries. I LOVE strawberries. I might make a strawberry pie today. I have been a bit weepy and emotional lately but nothing extreme. I break out in tears maybe once every week or two. I did have a bad migraine headache the past 2 days but it's finally gone. The only time I really feel pregnant is when I have terrible bloating and gas and when I attempt to sleep on my stomach. It's like there's a small melon under the mattress. Not too comfortable ;)
My 17 year old has been visiting us for the past few weeks. It is so nice having him with us. He's still thinking about things and mentioned he might be moving back home with us. We talked over dinner the other night about what we expect from him and all that and he seemed agreeable. I just want him to finish high school and think about college or a trade school. He's shown an interest in carpentry or framing and there's a good school here in London that offers training on all that stuff.
Hubby's iPhone app should be done soon! I'll post a link to it whenever it's up on the Apple site.
That's it for now! Hugs and love to all :)
"We" in the group of having been Preggy once call that "PG Brain" LOL - welcome to the group!
ReplyDeleteI am happy for you guys! Just make sure you have some home remedy available in case morning sickness week comes. for starters, try ginger or lemon drops. They work for most women.
