31 weeks 2 days! I'm in the last week of my 7th month!
Apologies for not keeping my blog updated! We've been busy with spring cleaning the past week or so but things are just about done. I hope everyone had a good Easter.
I've been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions lately. They were coming so often last night that I actually had to stop and watch the clock to time them. They stopped after I drank a few glasses of water before bed, though I was up 5 times during the night using the bathroom after that!
My carpal tunnel is getting worse too and now I catch myself having to wear my wrist splints on and off during my waking hours. I went out to do some shopping the other day and had to come home almost immediately because my arms hurt too much to drive. I also experienced some pretty bad swelling in my hands and feet last Thursday. I'm sad because I had to take off my wedding rings and put them away till after the pregnancy. My hands seem to always be slightly swollen and the rings are just too tight.
Baby has been active though his movements aren't as jabbing as they used to be. They're more of a rolling feeling and still some fluttering down low in my abdomen. Occasionally he'll kick me up near my ribs and that's a bit uncomfortable, but I still love feeling him :)
I finally get to meet my obstetrician tomorrow morning. I've been waiting for this appointment for months, literally, and am excited! I really want another ultrasound just to check the baby and make sure he's doing well.
Everything else is going well. My other son is doing fine. He called us on Easter to wish us a happy holiday which I thought was sweet. He's still not doing much in the way of looking for work or going to school from what he told me. I'm sad about that, but he's an adult now and can do what he wants, and I'm sad about that too, haha :)
I hope everyone is doing good. We've moved our computers up from the basement so I'm hoping having easier access to my computer will help me keep this blog updated. We'll see.
Happy Spring!
