38 weeks, 1 day!
First off, sorry I haven't posted in a few days. We're doing fine here. Nathan is still resting comfortably in my belly :) My teen son and I were walking through Walmart the other day and I suddenly had cramping and contractions and severe pelvic pain. Turns out Nathan dropped again in the middle of the store! We managed to get our shopping done though and headed home just fine.
I've been having A LOT of Braxton Hicks contractions lately. They were actually quite painful this morning and running around 5 minutes apart. I hopped in the shower though and they went away so I knew then that they weren't the real thing.
I am rarely sleeping for more than 2 hours at a time and most nights I end up going out driving once or twice. Driving relaxes me more than reading a book or watching infomercials. My left arm has been giving me a lot of trouble lately so that pain along with general third-trimester insomnia really limits my sleep.
My teenage son has been staying with us for about a week. He asked me to take him to see our doctor again about getting help with depression and possibly getting on medication. About a year ago or so he diagnosed himself with dysthymia and our doctor actually agreed with him at his last appointment. I thought that was interesting :) She prescribed Celexa for him and he's been on that for 3 days now. He goes back to see her next week. Things here with him have been going well and I hope the medicine helps too once it kicks in. He'll be making some calls this week to some local agencies that offer therapy. I'm a firm believer in therapy while taking medication, not just taking the meds.
Good news about employment for my husband! He was offered a position at RIM! We're pretty excited but still waiting on hearing back from NDS which we hope to do tomorrow or Wednesday. So... a move just might be in our near future! I'll keep everyone posted.
Hello to friends and family. I've received your emails and will reply soon! Also, thank you to my sister for her card and onesies for Nathan :) I'll write soon.
I'm sorry but LOL you drive yourself around at night?
ReplyDeleteI hope your son feels better soon. I had to take meds after my second miscarriage. They saved my life.
I hope to log in soon and see pics of your little one.
I love driving :)
